Rubber Technology Course starts at Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic

Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic College started a Rubber Technology Course in joint venture with JK Tyre Industry. Today, Ram Kishore Saini, the Minister of Technical and Engineering Education, Govt. of Rajasthan visited Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic premises where he inaugurated Rubber Technology Lab, Computer Lab and then he attended a seminar on “Industry-Institute Partnership and the effective model of Public Private Partnership in the state of Rajasthan”.

In the seminar Anil Mehta, Principal of Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic mentioned the purpose of introducing the Rubber Technology Course and also how the students would be benefited from the same.

The main focus of the course is to mould the students according to the standards of the industry and the students will also have job guarantee after the completion of the course. Many social figures were there to attend the discussion including Daya Lal Chaudhary, Arvind Singhal, K.D. Shrivastav, Anil Godha, S. K. Sharma, Directors and Deans of various educational organizations, Chief Scientist in Rubber Technology and Managerial figures from JK Tyres.

Various issues were discussed and help from the government to maintain the current status of Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic was sought. Mehta also informed that Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic is working for the benefit of the students from rural area, and special personality development courses including English Language Development, Psychological Sessions etc. have also been introduced for the students.

He also mentioned that the college is providing a diploma after 10th class and then degree to all the students from rural areas.

Mehta also added that Vidhya Bhawan polytechnic would be grateful to help in the implementation of Industry-Institute Partnership Model in Rajasthan.

Anil Mishra from JK Tyres in his brief speech told the gathering about the role JK Tyre group is playing in providing the services to community by successfully running several schools in Rajasthan, 14 ‘Aekal Vidhyalaya’, a Rubber Technology Course in Sukhadia University etc. He also asked the honorable Minister to discuss the importance of lending a helping hand in government education with the senior leaders.

Ram Kishore Saini ended the seminar by ensuring the personals that the model would be taken under consideration and also he would ask the Chief Minister to look into this matter. He also outlined the importance of personality development of students from rural background and urged the business and education personals in the audience to constantly keep supporting and suggesting new ideas.
