Scholarships given to Needy, Brilliant students

Under the banner of “Pista Kumari- Gend Singh Khamesra Smriti Chatravati”, 13 needy brilliant students received Scholarship checks of Rs. 5,000 each by the Chief Guest Dr. Yashvant S. Kothari, Secretary, Viklang Kalyan Samittee in a function held at The Hearing & Speech Impaired School, OTC Scheme, Ambamata, Udaipur.

Under the banner of “Pista Kumari- Gend Singh Khamesra Smriti Chatravati”, 13 needy brilliant students received Scholarship checks of Rs. 5,000 each by the Chief Guest Dr. Yashvant S. Kothari, Secretary, Viklang Kalyan Samittee in a function held at The Hearing & Speech Impaired School, OTC Scheme, Ambamata, Udaipur. 

On this occasion, Dr. Kothari spoke that now a day Govt. & non-Govt. organizations have come forward to help the needy students so that none is forced to stop studies in provision of financial assistance. He further told that helping the needy students is like obtaining the blessings of the God. During the function, Special students performed Muk Abhinay, which were applauded by all. The organizer of the Chatravati Yojna had shown his happiness for getting good support of the local media. He has further told that all 43 students, who fulfilled the requirements under this yojna, have been given scholarships of Rs. 5,000 each in this academic year 2014-15. In the coming years also the scholarships will be given.

The students, who had received the scholarships under this banner, will continue to receive the scholarships during their college studies if they secure more than 60% marks in preceding class. For the next academic year, the forms can also be obtained from the School, Ambamata & Govt. Sec. School, Sector-4.

He gave his heartfelt thanks to M.L Paliwal, Principal & teachers of the School who extended all help for successfully organizing the function. Shama Parveen, Vibha Srimali, Angoorbala Jain, Shakuntala, Jaya Sen, Deepika Teli, Chanda Sisodiya, Amina Bano & Babita took active role in the event.
