Rajasthan Govt Mahatama Gandhi English Medium Schools will begin accepting admissions from 4 May

The schools will accept admissions for Classes Nursery-12; RTE admissions will also be accepted

The Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Government Schools across Rajasthan will begin accepting admissions from 4 May till 9 May 2023 for the academic session 2023-24.  As per information from the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bikaner, guidelines have been provided to the schools to being accepting admissions from 4-9 May 2023.

The Final Lottery for admissions will be drawn on 12 May and the admissions process will begin  from 15 May. Classes are expected to commence from 1 July 2023.

Nursery - Class 12

As per information  received from the  Directorate of Education, Rajasthan, new admissions will be given on all the seats of Class One, while admission will be given only on vacant seats from the sanctioned seats in operation  earlier in the schools. Apart from this, fresh admissions will be given on all the seats in Pre-Primary and Kindergarten Class (only for schools where such Classes are in operation).  Admissions will only be granted for vacant seats in LKG and UKG classes. Fresh admissions for Class 1 to 5 in the approved Mahatma Gandhi schools will be given for session 2023-24 and onwards. There are many Mahatma Gandhi Schools in the district, which have been running for 7-8 years, where students from Nursery to Class 12 will be given admission.

RTE Admissions

Admissions to the Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools will also be provided under the Right To Education policy of the government. 30 students in Classes 1 to 5, 35 in Classes 6 to 8 and 60 students in Classes 9 to 12 will be given admissions, 25% of which will be through the RTE policy. A priority list will be prepared and released after drawing a lottery of all the approved applications.
