-The final decision to be taken by the committee comprising of educationists and parents and members of the cabinet.
-The meeting regarding this was held on Tuesday 20th October in the cabinet.
Whether the schools will reopen sooner or later is a big question and a point of fear as well as coronavirus is taking its hold over human lives and the numbers, though recovery rate is fast, are multiplying.
In a meeting of the cabinet presided by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, it was suggested that the schools in Rajasthan be closed until November 30 as the corona infection is still spreading. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara said that a committe has been formed comprising of educationists, parents and members of the cabinet who will take a final call on the reopening of schools.
The education minister also expressed his concern over the fact that a long duration of keeping the schools closed might occur in a zero session this year.
Students upto 9th standard can be promoted but it is quite a difficult situation for those appearing for 10th and 12th standard this academic session. It may also be noted that half yearly exams are commencing from 26th October in most of the schools.
