Science and Literary fest starts at the Central Public School
A two day Science Literary fest has been started today at the Central Public School. A total number of 332 students from 25 schools of Udaipur will be participating in the event.
A two day Science Literary fest has been started today at the Central Public School. A total number of 332 students from 25 schools of Udaipur will be participating in the event.
The event was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon and lighting up the lamp by Alka Sharma, Director CPS and Geeta Nayar, Principal, Rockwoods High School.
Today’s events were Inter school Science Project competition and Inter School Science Quiz Competition. The competitions were conducted in three groups, Class 7-8, Class 9-10 and Class 11-12.
Students enthusiastically demonstrated and explained their science project models to the judges and the visitors as well.
Ayush Swarnkar, a student of Class 11 from CPS, build a project and named it as “Clean Udaipur-Go Green”. While demonstrating the project, he said, “The project is a solution to the major problem faced by the city administration i.e. cleaning of lakes”.
Another student Mudit Bafna, from the St. Gregorios School prepared the model of a flexible barrier which could produce electricity, whenever a vehicle passes over the barrier.
In the second competition of Science Quiz, the students were seen anxious, nervous and enthusiastic at the same time, in the various rounds of the Quiz.
