Science and Technology department selects 9 projects of AITS students
Department of Science and Technology has selected 9 projects from Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS) for partial funding in the year 2013-14.
Department of Science and Technology has selected 9 projects from Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS) for partial funding in the year 2013-14.
These projects are selected out of 141 projects submitted across the state. Out of these 9 projects, 4 are of Electrical Engineering, 3 of Electronics and Communication Engineering and 2 are from Computer Engineering Department.
According to the order issued by the DST, total 5 faculty members from the AITS including Hemant Dhabhai, Sangeeta Sharma, Anand Jain, Shailendra Bhatnagar and Aashish Bohra are the Advisory members for the projects.
The projects will be completed in the guidance of the advisory member. The selected projects are: An ATM with an Iris, GSM Based Anti Petrol Theft Alarm, Smart Shopping for Mega Malls, Minimizing Penalty in Industrial Power Consumption, Solar Power Irrigation System, Wireless Power Theft Monitoring, MC Based Automatic Gate Controller, Development of Online craft and art information system, Xpertize E-Comp Learning.
The group Director Hemant Dhabhai, Director Ashok Jain thanked and congratulated the faculty members and students for this achievement and paid gratitude to AITS Management for their effort towards the welfare of the students.
