The annual board exams conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the students of both 10^th and 12^th Classes started from today. Around 1 lac students of Class XII and 45,500 of Class X are expected to appear across the state for the certification.

Before the exam, mixed emotions of tension and excitement were seen among the students.

On the first day, common paper of English was held for Commerce, Science and Arts branches of 12^th standard while Drawing and Painting exam held for 10^th class students.

After the exam, Charu Sharma, a student of 12^th Commerce said, “The paper was quite lengthy but at the same time it was easy”.

These exams are being held over 416 centres of Ajmer Region, out of which, 166 are in Rajasthan while 56 and 195 examination centres are in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh respectively.
