Seedling Students Win Inter School Science Quiz
An inter-school Quiz Competition was held today at St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School in which 15 schools from Udaipur and other cities participated. Seedling Modern School won the competition while St. Anthony’s and St. Anselem (Chittor) succeed to grab 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

As the year 2011is declared as Year of Science by United Nations, series of educative programmes have been held and many others are planned for the coming months. This inter school quiz competition was based on Physics and Chemistry. The competition was divided into 4 rounds – General, Visual, Leg pulling and Rapid Fire.The following schools participated in the competition; St. Paul’s, St. Gregorios, St. Anselem (Chittor), Central Academy (Sardarpura, Hiranmagri and Ambamata Branches), St. Mary’s (Titrdi), St. Anthony ( Bhilwara and Goverdhan Vilas Branches), Delhi Public School, St. Teresa’s, Seedling Moden, Alok School, The Study and Maharana Mewar Public School.
The competition was held for students of Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth standards. Winners were honored with cash prizes, a memento and certificate by chief guest Professor of Chemistry S.C Ameta.Anjala Manwani and Ayushi Galundi from Seedling Modern School won the competition while Kanishk Jain and Yashvardhan Singh of St Anthony’s Goverdhan Vilas and Prakhar Kashiwal and Mayank Anchaliya of St. Anselem Chittor secured second and third positions respectively.
S.L Jain, Head of the Department, Chemistry at St Paul’s said, “It was a great experience for students who participated in the competition today. We also organized science model exhibition on 6th Oct and tomorrow on 8th October we are organizing Science Model Competition.”
