A seminar was organised today on Emerging New Trends in Space Technology at Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS) Campus, Udaipur. The seminar was jointly organised by Space Society of Mechanical Engineers (SSME), ISRO, Ahmedabad in association with Aravali Institute of Technical Studies, Udaipur. This was the first of its kind seminar organised in Rajasthan. The main objective of the Seminar was to share knowledge with the Engineers and Industrialists about latest trends and happenings in the field of Space Technology and to gear them up for future technical challenges.

Chief Guest of the Seminar was Prof. N. P. Kaushik, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Dr. B. S. Munjal, President, Space Society of Mechanical Engineers, ISRO, Ahmedabad was the Guest of Honor. Co-Chairman of the seminar was R. M. Shah, Senior Scientist, ISRO, Ahmedabad.

The Seminar was carried out in 5 sessions in which the scientists briefed the audience about all the mission of ISRO and gave a technical overviews about its Satellite Subsystems, Mars Mission and Communication Satellites Launches.

Prof. N. P. Kaushik congratulated the organisation team and the participants for making the seminar a learning experience for all.
