On 23rd September, student representatives will also be trained on giving online / offline tests under the Project Uttkarsh Smart Classroom program. This training session will be held for student representatives from selected 161 schools and will be conducted at Guru Govind Singh Senior Secondary School, Udaipur form 9AM onwards

Project Uttkarsh – Smart Class Teachers Training workshop concluded at the Govt Senior Secondary School, Goverdhan Vilas today.  This workshop was conducted under the guidance of Collector Rohit Gupta with the assistance of Hindustan Zinc Limited and under the joint auspices of the Secondary Education Department and Moini Foundation, Jaipur.

Pushendra Sharma, Local Coordinator of Project Uttkarsh informed that 12 teachers were trained by three representatives of Project Uttkarsh, viz. Aayush Maheshwari, Mohammad Rizwan and Yatish Swarnkar.  The training included registration procedure of email IDs of students of classes 9th and 10th, creation of Master IDs of students, registration on virtual classrooms and understanding MIS on subject wise monitoring of students performance.  Pushpendra added that this training has induced an eventual sensitivity towards improving the performance of all students, among the teachers who participated, as all there queries during the workshop were satisfactorily addressed.

Post the training, teachers will be able to conduct online learning by conducting online examinations for each subject, sending online quizzes to their email IDs through the Academy Portal and conducting real time assessment of the performance of each student.  Teachers will also be able to monitor and internally evaluate academic understanding of subjects through online games – thereby allowing them to assess and improve the performance of students in each subject.  This will eventually facilitate improvement of results of the students as well as overall performance of the schools.
