Shramjivi College passed the budget of Rs.60000 for installing a drinking water tank after facing aggressive protest by students who are suffering lack of water facility in the college for past two months.

Shramjivi College passed the budget of Rs.60000 for installing a drinking water tank after facing aggressive protest by students who are suffering lack of water facility in the college for past two months.

The college administration instantly agreed to the demands after the students forcefully shutdown the college premises today.

Today morning a group of around hundred students gathered outside college and started protesting against the problem and shutdown the college after evacuating classrooms.

Om Parikh, student leader told UT that for last two months students are facing drinking water problem and arranging water on their own. “We met dean and told about the problem in written but after getting no positive response, we decided to protest” said Parikh.

C.P Agarwal, dean of the college was not available at the time of incident. However later it was informed that college administration has decided to install water tank and RO filter soon.
