Students go Violent over Attendance IssuePolice have to use mild force to break the aggressive protest led by the students of Homeopathic Medical College at Dabok when they allegedly seized the college campus and locked the administrative officials including the Dean and staff members in a room for several hours.

The cause of tension was the requirement of minimum 75% attendance to appear in the exam. The protesting students were reportedly not allowed to give exam due to short attendance.

According to the sources, today when all the students reached the college for the exams some were asked to leave as they were falling behind the required criteria of 75% attendance.

The students started protesting which took violent shape when some of the students locked up the Dean and other staff in the room for an hour and caused a chaos in the college.

Meanwhile, one of the staff members, who were locked in the room, called the MLSU administration department and also informed Dabok Police about the situation. The police used mild laathi-charge on the students and then unlocked the room. The case against 15-20 students was registered and police has started investigating the case.
