Students made posters to raise awareness on World AIDS Day
Geetanjali Medical College, School and College of Nursing and Physiotherapy college of Geetanjali University organized a poster and rangoli competition to raise awareness on the World's Aids Day. The art will be displayed for the next 10 days at Arpan Health Training center.

Dr. Harish Mathur, President of PSM Dept., informed that Ankit Agrawal, CEO of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital observed the art displayed. Sunakshi (I), Reena (II), Janki (III) and Garima, Anisha, Jyotsana (runners up) were winners.
Dr. Mathur further informed that a Health Fare 2014 is organized from 2nd-3rd December at Health Training Center, Sukhadia Circle. The fare was inaugurated by Vice chancellor of Geetanjali University Dr. RK Nahar, CEO of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital Ankit Agrawal, Dean of Geetanjali School and College of Nursing Dr. Jayalakshmi LS, Dr. Mukul Dixit of PSM Department and Gajendra Jain, Principal of Geetanjali School of Nursing.
On the first day, health models and charts were displayed to raise awareness regarding smoking, diabetes, communicable diseases, water conservation and cleanliness, breast cancer and vaccination etc. On 3rd, voluntary blood donation camp will be organized.
Also, to mark International Disability Day on 3rd December, various competitions, theater, role play and skit will be organized, as informed by Dr. Pallav Bhatnagar, Principal of Geetanjali College of Physiotherapy.
