Mohan Lal Sukhadia University began with its academic session 2013-14 with the completion of admission process of almost all the faculties; along with the start of new session various student union groups have also started preparation for upcoming student election of both University and College Levels.

Although the date of election is still tentative to be the third or last week of August 2013, in the preparatory round of elections some of the political groups have chosen their candidates who will lead there banner from the front.

ABVP has shown faith in Himanshu Jaat for the post of University President, whereas Dinesh Bhoi is to compete for the same post from NSUI; CSS is likely to put ahead the name of Amit Paliwal for University President this year.

For other prominent positions, Prince Choudhary is speculated to compete for post of College President of University College of Arts, informed sources.

Sources further informed that University election is possibly scheduled either on 17^th or 24^th of August; while there is no official announcement, yet the banners installed in the Campus suggest that 17^th August would the Election Day in the University.
