A group of 10 students with two teachers from Swedish city of Gothenburg visited Udaipur’s CPS Bhopalpura in the Student Exchange Programme and learned various educational, cultural, historical and environmental aspects of Udaipur.

Students from Donner Gymnasiest stayed with CPS students from 6^th to 15^th February.

During their stay, CPS had planned various projects (indoor and outdoor) to give the Swedish students an in depth experience in various educational programmes and knowledge about cultural diversity of the city.

Group, along with students of CPS, visited Haldhighati, Gogunda and learned the rich history of Mewar. They also visited city’s tourist destinations including lakes, parks and palaces.

CPS students enjoyed with their Swedish friends and they not only learned about Swedish culture but also understood how to built self-discipline, confidence and curiosity about a subject from their peers.

Over their stay, Swedish students also stayed at CPS students’ house and observed the Indian traditional, family values and spiritual practices.

The group was warmly welcomed by the Director of the school, Alka Sharma and Associate Director, Deepak Sharma.

“Such exchange of programs helps students from both sides to explore each other’s culture and tradition. They understand how is the world on the other side and what are the prospective of their upcoming life which will be full of challenges”, said Deepak Sharma.
