Teachers Education Seminar from 21st April

A national seminar titled ‘Teacher Education – Challenges of the 21st Century’ would be organized at the Agriculture College, Udaipur with the co-ordination of the Department of Education, MLSU on 21st and 22nd April, 2012.

The seminar is expected to be attended by many professors, teachers, deans and well-known educationalists. Till now, 140 applicants are registered and 110 papers have been received for the different segments of the seminar.

Various challenges like present decisive structures of education, development in science and technology, learning method and child psychology, privatization, etc will be the points of discussion at the seminar.

Dr. Sodani said, “Dr. A.B Fatak, Prof. O.S. Dewal, Advisory, National Teacher Education Corporation,New Delhi; Prof. M.P Sharma, Prof. Praveen Doshi, Dr. Damina Chaudhary, Dr. Anupuniya, Dr. Surendra Diwedi, Advisor Group are the ones who are keenly observing the administration and process of the seminar”.

Dr. Prabha Vajpayee, Secretary, National Seminar informed, “Dr. Dayaram Parma, Education Minister, Rajasthan Govt. would be the Chief Guest and the one to inaugurate the seminar on 21st April, 2012 at 11a.m. The special guest would be Prof. Naresh Dadheech, Vice Chancellor, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota. The program will be led by Prof. I.V Trivedi, Vice Chancellor, MLSU, Udaipur”.

On the concluding day of the seminar, Prof. Ramesh Dadheech, Member Secretary, ICSSR, New Delhi and Dr. Subhash Garg, Chairman, Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer would be the special guest. Dr. Divya Nagar, Vice Chancellor, Janardan Rai Nagar, Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth University, Udaipur would be leading the last day.
