CBA Exam: Teachers Must Upload OMR Sheets by Dec 2
Competency tests were conducted in government schools for classes 3 to 8 in English, Maths and Hindi
Udaipur, Dec 1, 2025 - To improve the quality of primary education and evaluate the learning ability of children, the OMR sheet entries of the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) exam conducted in government schools will now be uploaded to the department’s portal. This will enable, for the first time, an online evaluation of students’ competencies.
The three-day CBA examinations were conducted in all schools of the district for students of Class 3 to 8 from November 27 to 29, to assess their knowledge levels in English, Mathematics and Hindi. The one-hour long exam had 20 questions in each paper.
Teachers are now required to upload the OMR sheets of the exams to the department portal by Tuesday, December 2.
According to Chandra Shekhar Joshi, DEO Primary Education, Udaipur, “The timely entry of OMR sheets on the portal will allow proper assessment of students’ weak areas, helping improve their competency.”
Based on the CBA, it will be easier to determine the subjects in which a child is weak. The purpose behind this is for schools to provide remedial teaching in that specific subject.
