A group of teachers from government run middle school have complaint against certain examination policies of the government. To convey their message to the state education minister the teachers met District Education Officer (DEO) in the Collectorate premises on Thursday, 5th April.

Since the system of Similar Pattern of Examination (Saman Pariksha Vyavastha) has became void, government has instructed all schools to conduct exams for classes I to VIII on their own and the amount sanctioned for conducting the examination is Rs.4 per student. Besides this the schools have been asked to conduct both quarterly and half yearly exams also at their level.

These are the two key problems that the teachers had discussed with DEO, Sampatlal Mandovra.

Shersingh Chouhan, president of teachers union said, “It is impossible for us to conduct both the papers in the given amount by government and if we have to conduct exams at our own level then why has the time table been given by the authority?”

The teachers have warned that if their demands were ignored, they will boycott the exams. “We are ready to face any consequences,” said Shersingh.
