A five day technical workshop on Web and related technologies was organized for the students of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Advent Institute of Management Studies, a unit of Advent age Foundation.
The workshop that started on 12th July and concluded on 17th July was carried out with the joint support of Unico Management Solutions Pvt Ltd. a technology consulting unit in Udaipur specializing in Web Technologies, including state-of-the-art web development and related applications.
Advent age Foundation, which has always been the pioneer in disseminating the benefit of technology, has thrived to see that students of Southern Rajasthan especially get the benefits of growing technology development and are at par with people in the technology hubs of India. With the influx of technology companies in Udaipur, the institute understands that it is all the more important for the students of technology be made aware of the latest trends in the ever changing and adapting IT industry.
Advent organized a five day session with the help of technical experts from Unico, which has been the pioneer of Live Project Training in Udaipur over the last three years. Students were exposed to the world of Content Management Systems, which included a 2 day hands on session on WordPress, Software testing, HTML, CSS, SQL, Web Structures, Layers, Frameworks and a final session on Version Control Solutions.
Learning is a constant process and to be able to withstand the competition in the dynamic field of technology one has to constantly look for getting his list of skill sets to grow. Keeping this in mind, experts from Unico Management Solutions, viz. Talib, Rajendar and Balwant organized these sessions, using live presentations and practical session to further elaborate the finer points of individual technology domains. Based upon the tutorial and Practical session students were trained to develop micro applications.
Student responded to the call very enthusiastically and took keen interest in the program. It was their own initiative that gave the students a platform to brush up their technology skills, get acquainted to latest in technology on one hand and also get their doubts sorted out on the other. The Training program was a stepping stone, which shall pave the path for future technocrats.
Students were handed over certificates at the end of the five day session. In an informal discussion, Aditya Shah, CAO, Advent age Foundation said that few more of these kinds of sessions shall be arranged for the students and the institute shall also seek the participation from the technology savvy people from outside to fine tune their skill set.
The trainers from Unico were also very content to see the response of students and said that in times to come more of such kinds of workshop on a larger magnitude shall be organized. Dr. Sunita Agarwal thanked the participants and delivery partners for taking out time from their busy schedules and sharing their knowledge and expertise with the students. Bhavesh Joshi, Coordinator, MCA, Advent Institute, based upon the feedback received, applauded the efforts of Unico and the support of his colleague, Azmat Rana, Gitesh Nagar and the students to make this event a success.
