Yash secured an All India Rank-1 in the results of KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), which were announced on Monday, 12th March. A total of 283 students of Class XI and 854 students of Class XII were recommended for the award of KVPY Fellowship – 2011. In the Order of Merit, Yash Gupta has secured AIR-1. Overall 3 students from the Udaipur Study Centre of Resonance have been recommended for KVPY fellowship.

Yash secured an All India Rank-1 in the results of KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), which were announced on Monday, 12th March.

A total of 283 students of Class XI and 854 students of Class XII were recommended for the award of KVPY Fellowship – 2011.  In the Order of Merit, Yash Gupta has secured AIR-1. Overall 3 students from the Udaipur Study Centre of Resonance have been recommended for KVPY fellowship.

This is another feather in the cap for Yash, given that he was also the topper in Indian Team which went for the final stage of IJSO & IESO, where he won Gold & Silver medals respectively.

The merit list is based on 75% weightage for Aptitude Test marks and 25% weightage for interview marks in the streams SA, SX and SB; those who scored 66%, 59% and 58% marks in these streams respectively are recommended for the award.

Yash Gupta has for the umpteenth time brought laurels for himself, his family, his school, MDS Public School, his Institute Resonance and Udaipur.

The Unbeatable Yash! One more students of MDS & Resonance from Class XI, Palak Jain has been recommended for KVPY fellowship with All India Rank – 61 while a student of Class XII, Preetum Suthar has been recommended for this prestigious fellowship award. This examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in association with IIT-Bombay. The successful students are awarded with a fellowship worth Rs. 4,000-7,000 per month which is funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Sujay Gupta of XIth Sc (Bio) of MDS also marked his presence at the national level in the Science Olympiad by securing AIR-74 and 7th rank in the State of Rajasthan. Sujay also secured 22 nd position in the prestigious NSTSE, the result of which was announced a few weeks ago. Vikas Kaushik, Center Manager, Resonance Udaipur informed that Yash Gupta has earlier won a Gold Medal for India in IJSO – 2010 held in Abuja, Nigeria. He also won the IGNOU-UNESCO Science Olympiad. Yash Gupta was among the top forty two winners out of 4000 participants who took the Olympiad on 21 st August, 2011. “This is an incredible achievement by the students of the school. All XI and XII students are doing justice to their academic abilities so far,” said Dr. Shailendra Somani while adding at the same time, “I will be more than happy if modern educationists contribute in producing more students who can become even better human beings and serve the Indian society in one way or another”.
