A 2-day training programme on “Capacity Building for CCE” was conducted for the teachers of The Study by Mr Nilesh Sancheti and Mr Manoj Jain. Both are certified trainers of CBSE empaneled agencies.

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for classes 1 to 10. The CCE seeks to establish learners interest not just in academic activities but also in extra-curricular activities like sports, art & craft among others.

Two main features of assessing a learners are through Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA) according to CBSE. Teachers find it difficult to assess a learner in Formative Assessment. The trainers explained and illustrated in an interactive manner how FA can be done within the parameters laid down by CBSE.

Tanmay Sinha gave vote of thanks to the trainers.
