Teachers Training Program

A five-day teacher training program starting on September 23, 2024, at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Udaipur located in Goverdhan Vilas. The training is for teachers from PM SHRI schools and focuses on improving their skills and knowledge.  A total of 44 teachers from 22 PM SHRI schools in Udaipur will take part in the training, specifically those teaching classes 9 to 12.  The training will run until September 27, 2024.

Who is organizing the training?

DIET Udaipur, led by Principal Chandrashekhar Joshi, is conducting the program. The training content was developed by experts at DIET, guided by Tejpal Jain and Riaz Ahmed.

How was the training designed?

Before developing the training module, a survey called the Teacher Need Assessment (TNA) was conducted by RSCERT Udaipur to understand what teachers needed help with. Based on this, DIET Udaipur created a customized training plan, becoming the first institute in Rajasthan to do so for PM SHRI schools.

What will the training cover?

The topics include understanding the PM SHRI school system, using technology in education, improving curriculum delivery, involving the community in student learning, classroom management, gender sensitivity, and leadership skills.

This training aims to boost the abilities of teachers in PM SHRI schools in Udaipur, helping them better manage classrooms and improve education quality.
