In what could be considered a first for Udaipur and unique in itself, twin sisters from Udaipur took home the Miss Fresher and Miss Fresher Runner Up Trophy at the Fresher’s Party organized at the College of Commerce and Management Studies, MLSU.

The event, “Aaghaaz” to welcome first year students to the College was held on the 15^th of October at the CCMS Premises.

First year students as well as seniors participated with enthusiasm in various performances that were held throughout the event.  Solo Dances, Group Dances and other performances ended with a group Garba in which all present took part.

Of course, the event most awaited was that of the Ramp champions, i.e. Ms Fresher and Mr Fresher!

While Abhishek Waswani blew away the ramp with his performance to take home Mr Fresher Trophy, the Rockstars at “Aaghaaz” were twins Sabah Dawood and Farah Dawood – Sabah’s claim to fame was the Ms Fresher Trophy while Farah followed suit with the Runners Up Trophy.  The twins are daughters of Sakina and Yusuf Dawood, and belong to Udaipur.

Dean CCMS, Dr G Soral welcomed all the guests, including Chief Guests Gajendra Bhandari of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha and Harish Rajani of Sunrise Institute.  Dr Soral gave his blessings to the students, wishing them luck in their studies and career.
