In a recent development, preparations are in full swing to provide government aid and schemes to more than 80.77 lakh children attending over 1.25 lakh government schools in the state by August 15, 2024. This deadline was established during a collaborative meeting involving five departments on May 9, 2024.

One of the primary motivations behind these efforts is the persisting issue of delays in government projects, such as free book distribution and the scooter scheme, which have faced setbacks ranging from 3 months to a year.

In Udaipur, a city with 3992 government schools and 5,01,900 students, Director Ashish Modi's visit on March 23 showed a promise to help kids as soon as schools reopen. Talks during his visit hinted at starting plans to make this happen, marking the beginning of the effort.
