Udaipur International Students Association celebrates 36th convocation ceremony

Udaipur International Students Association celebrated 36th convocation ceremony on Tuesday. The ceremony was held in a restaurant in Kaladwas.

Happiness of 9 African students knew no bounds when they were provided degrees in the 36th convocation ceremony. 4 of these students did their Masters from Pacific University and 5 did their Bachelors from MLSU. Dr. Joshua Gisemba Okemba, President of All India Africa Adventist International Students Association, was the Chief Guest for the convocation ceremony and gave away degrees to the students.

Dr. Joshua said that the African students have not merely gained on part of education but also learnt Indian culture and life-styles. This experience will help the students in future. Students also shared their experiences with all. Local faculties and students also attended the ceremony.

A graduate in Journalism from Pacific University, Leon Lidigu said that Foreign Minister of Kenya has expressed his happiness over the achievements of students through social media. He also said that 30 members from Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Uganda are connected with this association. They pool in their pocket money to be used by the association for various events.
