Winners of the 7th All Rajasthan Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (U.C. MAS) Abacus Competition from Udaipur will be participating at the National level Abacus competition which is expected to be held in Chennai in July 2012.

Raj Kumawat from U.C. MAS Udaipur bagged the title of Champion, answering 200 arithmetic questions in just 5 and 8 minutes in the 7th All Rajasthan U.C. MAS Abacus Competition which was held in Jaipur on 24th December.

Among other students who took part Maldev, Mudit Jain, Abhinav Talesara, Lovish Lodha, Khushi Talesara, Priyanka, Purav Haran, Bhumi Lodha, Plash Khandelwal, Kartik Mehta, Bhumi Arora are the ones who stood runner ups in competition.

All these 12 students will be participating in the national competition and the winners of the national competition will participate in the international level competition which is expected to be held in Malaysia.

The state level competition was for children in the 4 -14 years age group. Over all, 2857 students from all across Rajasthan participated in this competition, out which 60 students were from UC MAS Udaipur.

Anita Sharma, Director of U.C. MAS, Udaipur said, “besides the champion and runner up, 16 students from our center stood in the merit list and 13 students got the consolation prize in the state level competition.“

U.C. MAS is an institution which runs all over India and abroad. It trains children of 4-12years in arithmetic and enhances skills like concentration, creativity, listening and photographic memory, etc.
