Udaipur MP, Arjun Lal Meena has announced an incentive scheme for promoting girl education and for supporting their empowerment in his legislative area. He announced that girl candidates from Government Secondary and Higher Secondary schools who score over 80% in Xth or XIIth exams will be provided a sponsored air travel to Delhi.

He further announced that the girls will also be taken for an educational tour to Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhawan along with a tour of Delhi. The girls will then return back via First Class railway ticket.

Meena made this statement in Jhadol yesterday during the send-off ceremony for the students for their board examinations. He said that female students are our treasure and we need to provide all possible support to help them blossom.

On the occasion, he also announced that if girls studying in Government Secondary and Higher Secondary schools are selected for State or National championships, then the associated school will be given a progress support of Rs 50,000. He also announced Rs 50,000 per girl child to the school selected for Gargi award.
