Education Minister Announces 40 PM Shri Schools in Udaipur

Construction has commenced on 20 schools that have already received approval...

Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar announced the opening of numerous PM Shri Schools across India, including approximately 450 schools in Rajasthan. In Udaipur alone, plans are underway to establish around 40 schools, with approvals granted for 20, and construction already underway. These schools aim to enhance educational standards and instill values among students.

MP Manna Lal Rawat addressed a gathering on June 22,2024 as the chief guest during the inauguration ceremony at PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School in Kaya village, Udaipur district. The event marked the unveiling of new classrooms, road construction, and a tree plantation drive.

Approximately Rs 4.5 crore are to be invested in PM Shri schools, with funding secured from District Mineral Foundation Trust  (DMFT) and Round Table India. 

Present at the event were MP Manna Lal Rawat, Udaipur rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena, and Education Officer Vabari Sanya.
