Garibnagar Government Secondary Girls School, Udaipur has been selected as the Best Girls School at the state level.

The award will be given to the Principal of the school, Parvati Kotiya ( in photo) on 3^rd Feb. in Jaipur in the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Best Government School 2010 which will be presided over by Brij Kishore Sharma, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Sanskrit Education, Language & Linguistic Minorities and Naseem Akhtar Insaf, State Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Govt. of Rajasthan.

After taking charge as the principal Parvati Kotiya has put in maximum efforts to improve the qualitative standards of the school not only in the academics but also the infrastructure of the school. The school will get a cash prize of Rs. 25000.
