Piyush Maharana adds another feather in the cap of Udaipur city.
Student of II year PGP in IIM, Piyush Maharana’s start-up idea has been selected in Top-30 innovative start-up ideas. The event University challenge program took place in IIT Mumbai.
Keeping in mind the various requirements of smart city, Piyush had created a Solar tree. This Solar tree is in the shape of Bodhi Tree which acts as a station where people can recharge their mobiles and laptops and even make use of Wi-Fi connections.
Piyush Maharana has also been short-listed for Marico Innovation Award to be held in February 2018. Piyush will soon install his Bodhi Tree in IIM campus, Udaipur. All arrangements have been made for this purpose. Since this tree operates through solar energy, it will be installed in full sunlight. Its operation will commence in around a month.
