With a different approach towards providing suitable educational services, two engineering students have started a concept of home tutor services by introducing UDRtutors (Udaipur Tutors) a venture of delivering home tuitions to the students of Udaipur.

Raj Parakh and Vinod Prajapat’s idea is yet retro; but they have given it a technological outline by maintaining an online database of all tutors through their website UDRtutors.in. With more than 8 tutors at present, Raj and Vinod will provide the best suitable tutors according to ‘clients’ requirements.

Vinod Prajapat, a student of CTAE said, “We know that, the idea behind the concept is not new, but we are providing a platform where a network of tutors would be available for the students seeking individual home-tuitions.”

The venture has started in early 2012, while Raj already working in a firm through college placement. Both of them coordinate their strategies and arrangement online or over phone.

“We even have linguists and would also be including art-teachers in future and we also have plans for providing tutors for higher courses of graduation and post-graduation,” said Vinod. Conducting group sessions for under privileged students of Udaipur and outskirts are also in the pipeline.

Vinod told UT, that many good students who are pursuing their respective courses are also working as part time tutors under UDRtutors and they also have full-time tutors. The concept is initiated to get rid of batch system at coaching where there is no difference in classes at school and at coaching.

“I have been seeing many good students in my college with even 8 and 9 point grades having tough time finding appropriate job. So, I made up my mind to start something on my own. My grades were rather low but it didn’t let me down to do what I wanted to do,” said Vinod.
