December 10,2024 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for the UGC NET December 2024 today, December 10, 2024. Candidates who wish to apply can complete their registration on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Important Deadlines
The payment window for the application fee will remain open until December 11, 2024. A correction window will be available from December 12 to December 13, 2024.

Exam Dates
The written examination is scheduled to take place from January 1 to January 19, 2025. The UGC NET December 2024 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Exam Pattern
The test will have two sections, both consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between the two papers.

Documents Required
A recent photograph (10Kb–200Kb) with 80% face visible against a white background.

• Candidate’s signature (4Kb–30Kb).
• Copy of Board/University Certificate for candidate’s name, parents’ names, and date of birth.
• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
• Qualifying degree certificate or last semester marksheet.
• Mailing and permanent address with pin code.
• Category certificate, if applicable.

Application Fee

• General/Unreserved: Rs 1150/-
• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 600/-
• SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs 325/-

The fee can be paid using SBI, Canara, ICICI, or HDFC Bank services, or through Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
