UGC NET syllabus
Each UGC NET subject has its own syllabus, covering important topics like Research Methodology, Teaching Methods, and subject-specific knowledge. The UGC-NET takes place twice in a year, typically in June and December, covering a total of 83 subjects.
UGC NET Paper 1 is a general paper that applies to all subjects, covering Research Methodology, teaching methods, and comprehension. Paper 2, on the other hand, is specific to your chosen subject.
In the UGC NET exam, the total score is 100 marks. In Paper I, you get 30 marks for both research methodology and teaching methodology, while comprehension is worth 40 marks. Paper II has a distinct setup, where subject knowledge contributes the full 100 marks.
