The UGC NET exam for Junior Professor Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions in universities and higher education institutions across the country was held on Tuesday, June 18,2024. 

The exam was conducted in two shifts from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There was more than 75% attendance in both shifts.

Notably, the UGC NET exam for the June session was conducted in OMR-based pen-and-paper test mode. The exam covered 83 subjects.

Udaipur City Coordinator Lokesh Jain informed that a total of 3,860 candidates were registered for the first shift, out of which 2,885 were present. In the second shift, 2,252 candidates were registered, out of which 1,761 were present.
