UPSC final results declared

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a constitutional body in India responsible for conducting various civil services examinations and appointments to the services of the Government of India. It is considered one of the most prestigious and competitive examination bodies in India. UPSC has declared the Civil Service final exam result on its website upsc.gov.in

This year women candidates got top positions. Ishita Kishori obtained AIR 1, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra. The UPSC CSE prelims exam was held on June 5,2022 and the results were published on June 22. On September 16 and 25, the main exams were conducted and the results were announced on December 6. The interviews were conducted  till 18 May, 2023. The commission has published the lists of the selected candidates on its website. 

The UPSC conducts these examinations on a regular basis, following a rigorous selection process that includes a preliminary examination, a main examination, and an interview/personality test. The exams are designed to assess the candidates' knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for various administrative and defense positions in the country.

933 candidates have been selected for various services such as Indian Administration Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, according to the results. Candidates can check roll number and name-wise Civil Services Exam results 2022 on the official website. 

Candidates who qualify these examinations are then eligible for recruitment or appointments to various government services, departments, and organizations based on their ranks and preferences.
