Vice Chancellors of Eight nations will come up together in a two day International Conference starting from 16th Oct at Udaipur’s Fateh Prakash Palace. The conference is organized by Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU).

Vice Chancellors of Eight nations will come up together in a two day International Conference starting from 16th Oct at Udaipur’s Fateh Prakash Palace. The conference is organized by Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU).

The topic of the event is Nurturing New Avenues in University Education in South Asia: Challenges and Prospects.

Margaret Alawa, Governor of Rajasthan will inaugurate the conference on 16th October, Tuesday at 11 am.

Professor Indravardan Trivedi, vice chancellor of MLSU informed that vice chancellors of Indian and foreign universities and many top notch educationists will discuss on the challenges concerning higher education, development and possibilities.

In the inauguration session, Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar, President of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Professor Mohammad Hadi Hedayati, Vice Chancellor of Kabul University, Afghanistan and Akhilesh Joshi, Chief Executive Officer, Hindustan Zinc Ltd will put forward their thoughts.

An Udaipur Declaration Letter will be also released on the basis of thorough discussion on coordination and exchange between South Asian countries.

The key and the most significant session will be conducted by Professor R.B Lal, President of All India Universities Union and Professor Sunaina Singh, vice chancellor, Osmania University.

The two day panel conference will be divided into two different sessions. First day session will be held under the leadership of Professor Hamid Saremi, vice chancellor Iran Islamic University.The session will be focused on exchange between South Asian Universities. Prof. B. R Anantham from Karnataka will share his perspective.

On second Day Prof. Mohammad Nizamuddin of Bangladesh Royal University will speak on coordination challenges and accord between nations.

A city touring session is also planned for all the guest vice chancellors including a plantation program at MLSU campus.

On the first day technical session will be held at Vedanta’s seminar hall whereas the second day technical session is going to be held at Hotel Royal Retreat.

The valedictory session and Udaipur Declaration is going to be held at Bio Technology House of MLSU.
