Vocational Courses to commence in Govt Schools

The academic syllabus in government schools will be now accompanied by courses such as IT, automobile, security, tourism, tours and travels and health care. The state government has approved to start these courses in 10 govt. secondary & senior secondary schools.

Although National Secondary Education Campaign has given proposal for 40 schools but due to lack of budget, these course could only start in 10. For the courses, B.Tech, MCA and M.Sc degree holders will be appointed. Every school has been provided a budget of Rs. 4.70 Lac.

The beneficiaries of the courses will be the students of classes 9th to 12th. In the beginning the courses will be taught to class 9th students and thereafter in 4 stages, these courses will be included in other classes as well.
