International WordPress experts participated in the International WordPress Technical Workshop (WORDCAMP) held at Pacific College of Engineering today.

Victoria Park from WordPress.com, Sarvanan and Gaurav Pareek, Nancy Thanki from JetPack and Hari Shankar from Woo Commerce held their grip on the audience, while rendering various detailed information on WordPress technology.

Piyush Javeria from the Faculty of Engineering, said that in the coming days, WordPress technology experts will be in high demand since most websites, both static and e-commerce portals are deploying WordPress technology.

The first half the days session was dedicated to showcasing various portals and websites developed using WordPress and the experts explained how WordPress is much easier to learn, use and deploy as compared to other technologies.  Security features, and new developments in and around WordPress were also discussed.

Students were given training on how to deploy WordPress technology in developing sites and applications in the second session.  Students went through a Live Training exercise along with mentoring by the experts.

Over 70 students and Faculty Members from technical institutions across Udaipur participated in the WordPress Workshop.  The WORDCAMP 2017 main session will be held at the Udaipur Chambers of Commerce and Industry on 28th January 2017.
