A one day workshop was organized at Manikyalal Verma Shramjeevi College’s history department on Wednesday. The workshop was titled ‘Sources of Rajasthan’s History’ whose chief speaker was Prof S.P Vyas.

The chief guest Vice Chancellor Prof S.S Sarangdevot along with special guests presided over the event. According to speaker Vyas, it is important to scrutinize all historical sources, facts and research papers along with study of literature, language, culture, art and dance, demography, local culture, tradition of business and technical history to ascertain the history of Rajasthan.

During the workshop, a research monograph called ‘Virasat’ by the history department was also launched by the esteemed guests present.
