The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India will be organizing the State Level Yuva Sansad Pratiyogita on 25^th-26^th Feb. at SIERT, Udaipur; 10 schools from 7 divisions will be participating in the event.

“The training for this event was given to the schools in each of the 7 divisions, which are currently running the competition to select teams for the main event to be conducted on 25^th – 26^th of Feb”, informed Manohar Singh Rajput, Coordinator of the event.

The motive of this affair is to give an insight of workings of democratic ethnicity and prepare an ideal citizen, as well as provide a platform to the potential leaders of the society.

The students participating in the event will be facing the daily scenarios of chores followed in Loksabha, where they will have to prove their skills in the various sessions, like legislative work, Parliamentary Committee schedules and vocations of Loksabha.

SIERT, Udaipur acting as the nodal centre in Rajasthan will be conducting this event from 10 AM onwards on the date, where school representatives from Ajmer, Jaipur, Churu, Bharatpur, Kota, Jodhpur and Udaipur will be participating.

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India is providing the financial support and guidance for this event.

The first two winners will be given shields and all the participants will be facilitated with participation certificates.
