Zahraa Attari of Delhi Public School, Udaipur, has topped the city in the CBSE Grade 10 2024-25 Board examinations; she is ranked second in Rajasthan
Udaipur, May 14, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) yesterday, May 13, announced the results for Grades 10 and 12 for the academic session 2024-25. The overall pass percentage in Ajmer region was 95.44% while across India the pass percentage was 93.66%.
In Udaipur, many students have achieved outstanding results, but one name that stands out prominently for exceptional achievement is that of Zahraa Attari, a student of Delhi Public School, Udaipur. With a score of 99.4% in the CBSE Grade 10 Board examinations, Zahraa has not only topped the city but also achieved second highest ranking in the whole of Rajasthan.
This remarkable display of dedication and academic excellence has made not only her school and family but the entire city proud. With her impressive score she has not only topped among peers but also set a shining example of what focused effort, discipline and perseverance can achieve.
It is a moment of pride for the entire city as the 16-year-old youngster has set a remarkable benchmark for future aspirants and become a source of inspiration for countless others. With unwavering determination, consistent hard work and a clear vision, Zahraa has brought honour to the school, family and Udaipur. Zahraa’s achievement reflects not just personal determination, but also the strong support system of teachers and parents who stood by throughout the academic journey.
UdaipurTimes caught up with Zahraa, taking her away from all the celebrations of the moment, to get her to answer a few questions.
UT: This is such a huge accomplishment. How are you feeling?
Zahraa: I am humbled by this as no achievement is possible without the grace of Allah. I thank Allah for this and all the well-wishers who had bestowed their prayers and blessings on me.
UT: Udaipur topper and second ranking across the State… what does this achievement mean to you?
Zahraa: I reiterate that I am humbled by this feat. Also, this has put an additional responsibility on me to keep up to the expectations of my well-wishers.
UT: After the exams and while waiting for your results, did you think you would achieve this nearly 100% score?
Zahraa: After the exams I kept questioning myself that did I do my best. My focus was always to give my best.
UT: Which is your favourite subject and how have you performed in that?
Zahraa: I like all the subjects but I am particularly inclined towards Science. I scored 100% in Science.
UT: How have you prepared for the exam?
Zahraa: I just stuck to the basics. My routine was to thoroughly go through NCERT books and solve PYQs (previous' years questions).
UT: What would your advice to your juniors be… those who will be preparing for the Boards in the next session?
Zahraa: I would advice my juniors to go through NCERT and PYQs and focus on time management. That is key.
UT: Who do you consider is/are a part of your success?
Zahraa: All my well-wishers, my parents, my sister, my teachers and my school. All have guided me and bestowed their blessings on me and helped me during the testing times.
UT: Going forward, what is your focus going to be?
Zahraa: I aim to do Engineering but, more importantly, I will try my best and grow to support the nation, society and all around me in the best possible way I can.
The proud parents are smiling from ear-to-ear as accolades and felicitations flow in. Dad Imtiyaz Ahmed Attari is a Chartered Accountant and businessowner while Mom Siddiqua Modi, a gold medallist in BSc (Mathematics), is an accounting consultant.
