2 venues, 21 countries, 2 days and 47 films: UIFF Schedule
Udaipur International Film Festival (UIFF) will commence on the 15th September, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Darpan Auditorium, Shilpgram
The screening of the films will take place on 15th and 16th of September in Darpan Auditorium, Shilpgram from 10:00 AM onwards till 9:00 PM. The screening of the films will also take place in The Celebration Mall-Lower Ground Atrium from 2:00 PM noon till 8:00 PM.
The main venue to the festival, Darpan Auditorium, is located between amazing surroundings of nature at Shilpgram. The registration process to participate in the festival is absolutely free of cost.
During the festival, the local communities will find an opportunity to see 47 outstanding films from India and other countries of the world including The United States, France, England, South Africa, Germany, India, Iran, Peru, Canada, Australia, Spain, Iraq, Norway, Georgia and Bangladesh etc.
Seminar and Workshop:
The festival will be organized in The Celebration Mall. There, on the 16th of September a seminar namely ‘The 100 years of Indian Cinema’ will be conducted. The seminar will be held from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM in the evening.
Cultural concerts along with the seminars and workshops for the youngsters will also be organized on the important subjects like ‘Film Script Writing Workshop’ at Darpan Auditorium on both days.
There will be a beautiful poster exhibition which will be open to the public, at both Celebration Mall and Darpan Auditorium, absolutely free of cost. The exhibition will be spellbinding in itself as it will comprise of original posters of the landmark films like Mother India, Mughal-E-Azam etc.
