Lake City, Udaipur, continues to captivate filmmakers from various genres. Recently, the city has witnessed a range of film activities, including productions spanning local Udaipur films, Rajasthani cinema, and Bollywood projects.

Actor Gulshan Pandey in Udaipur

Television and film actor Gulshan Pandey, known for his portrayal in 'Crime Patrol' and several movies, has been at the forefront of Udaipur's film scene. Pandey recently wrapped up shooting for a science fiction movie in Rayta Hills before joining the cast of the short film "Arzi.” Arzi is a short film making under Udaipur production house. 

Rajasthani Films Shooting in Udaipur

Simultaneously, Udaipur played host to the filming of two Rajasthani movies on June 18,2024. "Lekin Me Ji Koni Sakyu" captured locales across Udaipur city, weaving tales of real-life emotions and everyday epiphanies. Directed by Lakhvinder Singh, the films have a cast featuring prominent artists from Jaipur and Udaipur, promising audiences a poignant portrayal of life's overlooked moments.

Bollywood's Presence in the City

Earlier this year, Udaipur also welcomed the production of the Bollywood film "Khel Khel Mein," featuring a blend of Rajasthani talent alongside renowned actor Akshay Kumar. The film, set against Udaipur's scenic backdrop, underscores the city's growing significance as a preferred filming destination for diverse cinematic ventures.
