Assistant Director Tourism Sumita Saroch and actor Ronit Roy came forward to support the concept of Film City in Udaipur. Their support has become a source of inspiration for the team struggling to establish Udaipur as Film City.

In her letter to Director Tourism, Sumita Saroch mentioned that Udaipur matches the necessary requirements for Film City. She said that all conditions are favourable and Film City can be started in Udaipur without any doubt. The Assistant Director forwarded her letter supporting the appeal sent by Mukesh Madhwani to Chief Minister. Actor Ronit Roy also tweeted that Udaipur seems extremely favourable for having Film City and extended his support in its favour.
