May 20, 2025 - Paresh Rawal will no longer be Babu Bhaiya in the Hera Pheri world. This news has brought disappointment to the faces of fans. It came as a big shock for those who had been waiting for Hera Pheri 3 for the last 19 years. Now, reports say that the makers of Hera Pheri have sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal.

Recently, there were reports that Paresh Rawal has quit Hera Pheri 3. It was earlier believed that the reason was creative differences between him and the makers. But in a recent post, Paresh Rawal clearly denied this. He said he has no creative differences with the makers and is leaving the film for some other reason.

Case Against Paresh

The makers of Hera Pheri have now sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal for unprofessional behaviour. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the producers — Cape of Good Films (owned by Akshay Kumar) — have filed a case worth Rs 25 crore against the actor.

Rights Bought and Debts Cleared

Reports say that the producers had bought the rights of Hera Pheri from previous stakeholders. They even cleared all the debts of the film. A huge amount of money was spent, with the aim of bringing Hera Pheri back to the big screen after 20 years. But owing to Paresh Rawal's sudden exit, the film has faced major losses.

Paresh Quit During Shooting

The producers cleared the film's debts only after Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal agreed to work in Hera Pheri 3. The shooting had even begun — the team was filming the announcement video. A large amount was spent even on that single day. But after Paresh Rawal left midway, the shoot had to be stopped. The makers have called this behaviour unprofessional and unfair.

Actor Demanded Triple the Fee

The team is upset with how Paresh Rawal exited the project. The producers believe they should not bear the losses caused by his actions. Reports claim that Paresh Rawal had signed the contract, all his conditions were accepted, and he was also paid a signing amount — which was three times higher than his current market rate.
