Industry reports indicate that Akshaye Khanna has stepped away from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3. According to a report by the X (formerly Twitter) page Bollywood Machine, he decided to leave the project due to compensation and creative issues with the makers. More details about the matter are yet to be known.

As per reports, the decision was not only due to monetary issues, but also because of creative differences. The actor had asked for major changes to his on-screen look in the film, which did not match with the makers’ plans. This is said to be one of the reasons behind his exit.
So far, neither Akshaye Khanna nor the film’s team has made any official statement. In Drishyam 2, Akshaye played the role of IGP Tarun Ahlawat, which was well received by the audience.

Akshaye Khanna played the role of Rehman Dakait in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. His performance was praised by fans and critics. The spy thriller is doing very well at the box office.
