Film City Sangarsh Samiti has organised a felicitation ceremony on 15 April to award individuals who have made significant strides in fields associated with films and film making.

Samiti President and Rajasthan Line Producer Mukesh Madhwani informed press that all individuals associated with films and film making need to submit their nominations by 12 April. Post that a screening committee will sift through the credentials and will announce the award winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhwani also informed that they have been fighting for a film city location in Udaipur and that this would require allocation of 300 acres of land. He claimed that opening up of a film city in Udaipur could lead to an additional income for the State Government to the tune of Rs 500 Crore and over 5000 people could gain employment opportunities.
