Udaipur, May 10, 2025: Recently, there was news that many film studios are competing to make a film on Operation Sindoor. The film was officially announced yesterday, and its poster was also released. Now, the director of the film, Uttam Maheshwari, has apologised. Uttam Maheshwari announced the film just two days after the success of Operation Sindoor.

Since the operation on May 7, there have been intense clashes between India and Pakistan. In such a sensitive situation, announcing a film on Operation Sindoor has created controversy. The director faced heavy trolling on social media, after which he finally apologised.

Operation Sindoor Director Apologises

Uttam Maheshwari, the director of 'Operation Sindoor', has apologised through a long note shared on his Instagram account. He wrote, “I sincerely apologise for recently announcing a film based on Operation Sindoor, which is inspired by the recent heroic efforts of our Indian Armed Forces. My intention was never to hurt or provoke anyone’s feelings.

Not Making the Film for Fame or Money

The director added, “As a filmmaker, I was deeply moved by the courage, sacrifice, and strength of our soldiers and leaders. I just wanted to bring this powerful story to the public. This project came from my deep respect and love for our country, not for earning money or gaining fame. However, I understand that the timing and sensitive nature of the situation may have hurt some people. I am truly sorry for that.”

Uttam Maheshwari also said, “This film is not just a project — it reflects the emotions of the entire country and its image on the global stage.” He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces and added, “Our love and prayers will always be with the families of the martyrs and the brave soldiers who protect us day and night on the border.”
