Bhagwat Chapter 1: Arshad Warsi to Share Screen with ‘Panchayat’ Secretary, First Look Revealed

Udaipur, Sept 29, 2025: Arshad Warsi, who entertained audiences with Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 3, will now be seen in a more intense role. The first look of the ZEE5 original film, Bhagwat Chapter 1, has been released. It features Arshad Warsi alongside Jitendra Kumar, popularly known as 'Jiitubhaiya'. This is the first time the two actors will appear together in a film. Jitendra hit fame with his portrayal of 'Secretary Babu - Abhishek Tripathi' in the OTT series 'Panchayat' and in 'Kota Factory'.

In the poster, Arshad Warsi is seen wearing a police officer’s uniform, with mirrored sunglasses reflecting the busy city below. Jitendra Kumar is positioned next to him. Both actors have serious, intense expressions. Several photographs of young women on the wall in the background hint at a missing persons case or a serial killing, setting a dark tone for the film.

When Will Bhagwat Be Released?

Directed by Akshay Shere, Bhagwat Chapter One: Rakshas could be the start of a bigger series focusing on villains or mysterious events. On Friday, ZEE5 announced the upcoming original film on social media. They shared the first-look poster on Instagram with the caption, "And we thought all the plot twists for 2025 were over, but the biggest twist is here! Bhagwat is about to blow your mind. Inspired by true events. Bhagwat is coming soon, only on ZEE5."

Starring Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar, Bhagwat follows Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat (Warsi), who starts by investigating a missing woman. What seems like a simple case slowly turns very complex.

The film will stream on ZEE5 soon, but the exact release date has not been announced yet.
