The film ‘King’ has been making headlines for quite some time. At first, Sujoy Ghosh was expected to direct the movie. However, the responsibility later went to Siddharth Anand. This film will mark the first on-screen appearance of Suhana Khan with her father Shah Rukh Khan. It is also Suhana’s big-screen debut.

Deepika to Play Suhana’s Mother

According to reports, Deepika Padukone will make a special appearance in the film. She will be playing the role of Suhana’s mother, who is also shown as Shah Rukh Khan’s ex-lover in the story. Even though it is a guest role, it is said to be quite important.

Deepika’s Connection With SRK Continues

This won’t be the first time Deepika appears in a guest role in Shah Rukh’s film. She earlier played his mother in Atlee’s ‘Jawan’. Before that, Shah Rukh and Deepika’s pair was loved in ‘Pathaan’.
